NZDA supports Table 17.1 as it deals with goods of class 1.3C, namely smokeless ammunition reloading powder in Group 1 zones.
NZDA objects to Table 17.1 page 17:38 as it deals with goods of class 1.1D (‘Gunpowder and blackpowder’). It is noted that the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act (1996) and subsequent regulations, allows up to 15 kg to be kept nationwide in residential areas.

The purchase of airguns - NZDA would like to see a 'point of sale' agreement issued at the time of the retail supply of all airguns.
The 1968 Trespass Bill was passed into law imposing criminal sanctions (imprisonment, fines and confiscation of property) on any person convicted of trespass with firearm and/or dog.
